The Dishes With Curry Preparation

Before the emergence of the big British Empire, the natives in Sri Lanka referred to "curry" as "kari".This tasty sauce that was taken along side rice. After the emergence of Britain, the whole setting of many foods changed a great deal due to the fact that the Britons came up with a wide range of dishes to supplement man's diet.

Nowadays, hot sauce is termed as curry. The various types that we have include; Indonesian curry, Jamaican curry, African and Haitian curry.

All hot sauce made from these countries is related in one way or the other. The curry made from Thailand is made from coconut milk most of the time.

While preparing the sauce, they prefer using wet spices in form of plant material that is in big sizes. They think by doing this, the dish will come out perfectly. This idea of cooking is very common in countries found in Southeast Asia hence countries located in other parts of the world prepare this kind of delicacy in a modern way.

For the Indians, they opt for dry spices which are very fresh and they are cooked in their normal size to bring about a lovely meal. This clearly shows that the Thais' way of cooking differs from the Indians'.

The stew made by Northern Indians is always made by use of onions which have been minced for some period of time.

The Indians don't consider the curry dish as their staple food because it was invented by the Europeans. However, this does not mean that this breed has no interest in this type of food hence they enjoy it a great deal even if they are not the ones who came up with the whole idea of this lovely dish.

Just because the stew is spiced with many ingredients, it never implies that the dish qualifies to be called curry. Thus,if you have been doing this thinking that you are enjoying a dish of curry, then you have been mistaken.
